A great morning energy booster that both adults and kids with love
This mix will make aprox 16 pancakes
Ingredients
70g Porridge Oats
150ml Milk
1 egg
200g flour
50g sugar (optional)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of cinnamon
20g Raisins (add more if you like)
20g Toasted walnuts (non toasted is fine as well)
20g Chia Seeds
Method
1. Soak the Porridge in the milk for at least 15 minutes
2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
3. Rest for at least 15 minutes , covered in the refrigerator (you can make the night before)
4. Heat a heavy based pan, add some rapeseed oil and a knob of butter
5. Spoon in 4 rounds of the batter mix and let set on the pan approximately 1-- minute
6. Turn and let cook for another minute or until golden
7. Serve with maple syrup or what I like is some heated jam strained and spread over the pancake
