Vietnamese Beef Salad

Vietnamese Beef Salad

Ingredients:

  • 280g Sirloin Steak Sliced
  • 1 bird’s eye Chilli, Deseeded and Chopped
  • 1 Lime
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 6g Sugar
  • 2 Spoons Thai fish sauce
  • 2 lime leaves
  • 100g Cucumber sliced
  • 1 Carrot in ribbons
  • 10 Cherry Tomatoes in halves
  • 1 Bunch Watercress
  • 1 Mango ( Optional)
  • Mint
  • Coriander

Method:

  1. Season the Steak Pieces Salt and Black Pepper and set aside.
  2. In a Pestal and Mortar add the Chilli, Sugar, Then the fish sauce ,lime juice and Sweet chilli
  3. Cut the Cucumber in Matchstick size Pieces and add the A bowl with the Carrot , Herbs and Tomatoes.
  4. Remove the central Spine from the lime Leaves and Shred In fine slices, Add to the bowl.
  5. Heat a pan until it smokes and grill the beef with some oil, it will not take long
  6. Finally add the water cress and dressing to the bowl.
  7. Serve In 2 bowls and add the beef on top hot.
