No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars With A Chocolate Orange Topping

Ingridients:

- 180 grams peanut butter

- 110 grams honey

- 135 grams rolled oats (not quick oats)

- 175 grams chocolate chips

- 15 grams refined coconut oil

-1 orange, zested 

-80g finely diced dark chocolate 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add your peanut butter and honey. Mix to combine and add the rolled oats and mix again until well-combined.
  1. Finely chopped some dark chocolate and sprinkle into the mixture, stirring well.
  1. Transfer the chocolate peanut butter oatmeal mixture to the lined loaf pan, spread and press down evenly with clean hands or a spatula.
  1. Add your chocolate chips and 1 tbsp refined coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl OR a heat proof bowl over a Bain marie. Microwave or melt in the bowl over a water boiler until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  1. Zest the skin of an orange into the chocolate mixture to give a beautiful orange scented taste.
  1. Pour the chocolate orange mixture into loaf pan over the peanut butter layer. Spread evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt (optional) and place in the refrigerator to set for 2-3 hours, then cut into bars. Makes 12 bars.
