Orange Chicken

This could not be easier to make (and you don’t even need an Orange … just cordial!) if you don’t have that fresh orange juice works well but you will have to balance it with some sugar or sweetener.

Ingredients

6 mini chicken fillets

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of white pepper

1 egg beaten

4 heaped tbsp self-raising flour

2 heaped tbsp cornflour

1 big pinch of salt

1 orange washed and cleaned on the outside - 1/2 cut into slices and then quartered (other half squeezed for juice)

3 tbsp of orange cordial double strength

2 tbsp cornflour + 2 tbsp water to make a paste

Approx 125ml of water
