Frittata di Spaghetti

Frittata di Spaghetti

INGREDIENTS:

  • 350 gr Spaghetti
  • 100ml Whole milk
  • 120 gr Cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 80 gr Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 80 gr Guanciale, diced
  • 1 Clove Garlic, squashed
  • Thyme
  • Black Peppercorns
  • Olive Oil

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put on a pot of water to cook the spaghetti; add salt to it and cook the spaghetti al dente, as per instruction on package.

In a pan, cook the guanciale.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the milk, thyme, cheese, eggs and pepper.

Once the Spaghetti are ready, strain them and rinse quickly with cold water.

Add the Spaghetti in the egg mix and gently mix them.

In pan over medium heat, add the oil, the crushed garlic and gently pour in the spaghetti and egg mixture; make sure it is spread evenly and let it cook for about a minute until the bottom is fully cooked and has a solid base. Put the lid on pan and cook at low temperature for about 12 minutes; then, flip the spaghetti frittata with the use of a plate.

Cook the other side for a bout 6 minutes; take out the pan and serve in slices.
