Fresh Herb Sausage Meat Stuffing

Ingredients

· 1 egg beaten

· 2 onions chopped

· 2 garlic cloves crushed

· 50 g Butter

· 600g Pork Sausage meat Skinless

· 6 Streaky Bacon Diced

· 1 Tbsp fresh herbs mix ,Sage , Parsley Thyme

· 225g Fresh Breadcrumbs

· 100ml Milk

· Salt and Pepper

 

Method

· Fry Onions ,Bacon pieces and garlic in butter for approx. 5 minutes till mix is soft

· Remove from heat and cool little

· Place into a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients except the milk and mix thoroughly

· Loosen mixture with some milk if needed

· Grease a 1 kg loaf tin and pack the mixture into the tin

· Bake in oven for 45 minutes until cooked right through

· Remove form oven and drain off any fat

· Leave to rest and serve with festive Turkey and Ham
