Mix the marinade in a bowl, then add beef. Marinate for few minutes.
Drizzle a bit of oil over the steaks.
Let excess marinade drip off then put beef on the barbecue grill. Cook for 1-2 minutes each side
Baste the steak with the marinate until cooked to your liking and nicely charred then remove from the grill n rest.
Keep warm until ready to be serve.
Salad/ slaw
Place carrot in separate bowls, sprinkle with 1/4 tsp salt, toss, leave for few minutes then drain excess liquid.
In a mixing bowl add in the garlic, peanuts, lime juice, fish sauce, sugar and lime leaves. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Then add in remaining ingredients and toss it again.
Put the salad mix in a bowl drizzle with the remaining juice.
Thinly slice the beef and decorate over the salad.
