Korean Street Toasties

INGREDIENTS:


8 slices of white bread
4 slices of Easi Single cheese
4 slices of ham
Tomato ketchup
Kewpie mayonnaise
Sugar
Butter
For The Omelette Mixture:
80g white cabbage (finely shredded)
1 carrot (finely shredded)
1/2 small onion (finely sliced)
1 spring onion (finely chopped)
2 eggs
Salt and pepper

METHOD:


1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the omelette. Add some butter into a non-stick
frying pan. Add 5 tbsp of the mixture into the pan to form a small thin omelette.2. Cook on medium heat for 2 mins on each side and set onto a plate.
3. Add 1 tsp of butter into the pan and then 2 slices of bread. Pan fry the bread on both sides
until it is golden brown. Set aside.
4. In the same pan, add the slice of ham to quickly sear on both sides so that it is hot.
5. To assemble the sandwich, first set a slice of hot toast on the base, add the omelette, sprinkle
some sugar, add the ham, cheese, a squeeze of ketchup, kewpie mayo and the last slice of
bread on top. Then it’s ready to serve.
