Nicola from The Wonky Spatula will be making a delicious yet simple turkey burger with hot sauce for that added kick!
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
400g turkey mince
½ a red onion, finely diced
½ a green pepper, finely diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
¼ green chilli, finely diced
Small pinch of; cumin, chipotle flakes and ground coriander
2 tbsp Frank’s red hot sauce
Large handful of fresh coriander
1 tsp olive oil, for cooking
METHOD:
1. In a large bowl combine the turkey mince, and all of the ingredients with a sprinkle of coarse sea salt.
2. Shape the mixture into patties, this recipe yields 4.
3. Heat your pan with a good drizzle of olive oil (approx 1 tsp) and cook the burgers for 4–6 minutes a side until fully cooked.
4. Serve and enjoy it really couldn’t be easier!
