Young Chow Fried Rice

YOUNG CHOW FRIED RICE

Ingredients

 

  • 250g chilled cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons scallion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 70g prosciutto ham (small dice) 
  • 2 tablespoons Donegal rapeseed oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ChanChan SpiceBag seasoning 
  • 4 medium size shrimps
  • 50g Frozen Peas 
  • 2 eggs

 

Method

 

  • Saute the garlic with some rapeseed oil over low heat until it turns aromatic. 
  • Fry the shrimps. Flip the shrimps over so that both sides are cooked, that is when they turn pinkish. 
  • Add the diced ham with the shrimp briefly. 
  • Pour the 2x beaten egg and stir for 1 min Add the cooked chilled rice thoroughly with the beaten eggs, Put the rice in the Ned heat pan and add spice seasoning fry the rice until all starting to get hot. 
  • Add a tablespoon of scallion and peas 
  • Set the stove to maximum heat
  • Stir and flip swiftly. Let each grain of rice touches the hot surface only for a split of a second and being tossed up again, for about one minute.
  • Put the rice in the bowl. Arrange the shrimps on top. Add more scallions to garnish and serve.
