Chocolate & Matcha Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

50g butter
150g dark chocolate
2 eggs

100g light muscovado sugar
100g rice flour
1 tsp matcha powder

Strawberry slices
Orange slices
Peanut butter
Chopped nuts.

METHOD:
1. Spray the zone 1 drawer of your Air Fryer with oil (without a crisping plate installed), and line the base with a piece of baking parchment (for oven baking see notes below).
2. Break up the dark chocolate into pieces and add into a saucepan along with the butter. Gently melt and leave to cool. Meanwhile in a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy. Add in chocolate mixture and whisk together.
3. Sieve flour and matcha powder together into bowl and fold into the brownie mixture with a large metal spoon. Spoon brownie mixture into prepared lined drawer.
4. Insert drawer into zone 1. Select zone 1, select BAKE, set temperature to 160°C, and set time to 30 minutes. Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking.
5. When zone 1 reaches 30 minutes, remove the baked brownies from the tray by turning the drawer upside down onto a chopping board. Remove the baking parchment before serving.
6. To serve for a special occasion, cut into 9 pieces and decorate each piece with different colours e.g. sliced strawberries, sliced orange, matcha, peanut butter and crushed nuts.

For oven baking: Preheat the oven to 180C. Use a baking tin and place in the oven for about 25 minutes.
