Make room on the sofa, Gogglebox Ireland returns to Virgin Media One tomorrow night with some new faces joining Ireland’s favourite TV viewing households

In episode one, viewers will be introduced to our newest household, with mum Deirdre Murphy and daughter Áine Flynn, who hail from Courtlough, Co. Dublin.

‘Gogglebox Ireland’ airs tomorrow night, Wednesday 5th September at 9pm on Virgin Media One and live on Virgin Media Player. 

Ireland’s favourite TV viewing households are back on our screens as Virgin Media One’s smash hit show Gogglebox Ireland returns tomorrow night, Wednesday 5th September at 9pm.

Back for a fourth season, Ireland’s most opinionated TV viewers will give their thoughts on some of the most memorable TV of the past week. 

In episode one, viewers will be introduced to our newest family, Mum Deirdre Murphy and daughter Áine Flynn who hail from Courtlough, Co. Dublin.

Áine plays an active role in running the family business, an adventure centre and clay pigeon shooting grounds. When Deirdre, aka “Nana Dee” is not chasing around after eleven grandchildren, she works as a psychotherapist.Deirdre and Aine describe themselves as being similar to the Gilmore girls, except older and Irish! Their Favourite shows include: Game of Thrones, Home of the Year, Gilmore Girls, Love Island, Room to Improve and This is Us.

Áine is on the Irish Clay Pigeon shooting team and trains two or three times a week. Clay pigeon shooting has been in her family for many years, with her grandfather going to the Olympics in Montreal in 1976. She is also the mother to two young children.
