Sergeant Angela Tyrell is in for quite a surprise in tomorrow night’s (Wednesday 3rd June) episode of ‘Red Rock’, when she finds out that her son Conor is on a list of students who his college believe are the biggest drug users on campus.

The net is quickly closing in on heroin addict, Conor, as his laptop, which was apparently stolen from the Tyrell’s home in his recent staged “robbery”, has surfaced at the station. Detective Nikki questions ‘Blu Ray’ over his involvement, as it was found in his possession along with other stolen goods, however he convincingly denies that he robbed the Tyrell’s house, so Nikki bargains with him in the hope of getting some new information.

Following a new lead, Adrijan and Sean head off to UCD in search of a girl that Blue Ray has described. She is believed to be receiving payment for small drug debts in the form of goods. This investigation returns the drug list that Conor’s name is on with only a small handful of other college students. Angela is deeply concerned with this new information and frantically calls her husband Tommy to share the worrying news. Will Conor’s dark secret be revealed?

Meanwhile over at the Kielys’, Vincent is still in utter disagreement with Katie’s decision not to keep her baby and hides her passport in a last ditch attempt to stop her travelling to England for an abortion. However, a stubborn Katie convinces him that taking her passport will only postpone her trip rather than prevent her going altogether and he eventually gives in and agrees to support her by going with her to Manchester. But will Katie go through with the hardest decision of her life?

‘Red Rock’ airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8.30pm on TV3.

NOTES TO EDITOR

Episode 43

Wednesday 3rd June at 8:30pm TV3

Despite Vincent withholding Katie’s passport as he tries to stop her going through with the abortion, he eventually gives in and agrees to support by going with her to Manchester.

The net is closing in on Conor Tyrell following the recent staged “robbery” as Detective Nikki questions Blu Ray over his involvement. Denying that he robbed the Tyrells house, Nikki bargains with him in the hope of getting some new information.

Adrijan and Sean head off to UCD in search of the girl that Blue Ray described, believed to be receiving payment for small drug debts in the form of these goods. Their return brings shock for Angela however, as they have a list of students who are believed to be doing drugs, with Conor’s name top of the list.

A Mr. Moran arrives at the station on the hunt for hapless Paudge. He tells Garda  Adrijan one of the Gardaí has stolen from him. Later that day, Paudge’s luck runs out as Moran finally catches up with him, and a fight ensues. As Paudge manages to pay off a small amount of his debt to Moran, his worries are far from over.

A hurt Adrijian confronts Sean about his dalliance with Nikki. As things spill out, Nikki is told about the kerfuffle from Angela. Uncomfortable with her business suddenly being public knowledge, Nikki decides to ends things with an evidently hurt Sean.

Episode 44

Thursday 4rd June at 8:30pm TV3

Patricia grills David over why he hasn’t gone to Manchester with Katie. Fuming at the situation after an earlier encounter with Katie, she makes a stern order to David that he must make damn sure Katie gets on that flight. A baby with a Kiely is more trouble than Patricia needs right now. As he attempts to go to Claire for advice David’s indecisiveness only annoys her.

As Katie arrives at the airport, Bridget and Vincent make a final plea with Katie to keep the baby. Reassuring her she wouldn’t be on her own, an emotional Katie refuses and heads off, just as David’s makes an appearance. Will she really go through with it?

Angela confronts Tommy about Conor’s name being black-listed as one of the top drug users in UCD. Arousing his suspicions that Conor has some involvement in the robbery, Tommy tries to protest, but the evidence is stacked against their son. Meanwhile, Conor shoots up at home unaware that his parents are route. As they find their son in a euphoric state, panic mode sets in with Tommy while Angela tries to remain calm. She refuses to call an ambulance, all too aware of what this would mean for her reputation as Garda.

With Sean and Adrijan still at loggerheads, they’re out on patrol together. While Adrijan apologises to Sean, sorry seems to be the hardest word for Garda Holden. However, as they pull over a car for breaking a red light, will Sean live to regret not mending things with his friend?
