In tomorrow night’s (Wednesday 1st April) hugely emotional episode of Red Rock, Michael Hennessy breaks down when he is taken into custody, petrified at the thought of going to jail. Despite his brother-in-law James’ words of encouragement to stand tall and be strong, Michael is numb with fear. Being locked up in a prison cell at Red Rock Garda Station is one thing but if he goes down, Mountjoy won’t be as kind to a rich kid like him.

The Kielys are overjoyed as word reaches them of Michael’s fate. After a long wait, justice looks like it’s finally being done. In a heartfelt exchange, Vincent informs Katie that Michael is being charged with Darren’s murder.

Tensions are mounting for Claire and James when Claire brings up the possibility of more IVF treatment. James is irate that this is still up for discussion when he has made his feelings on the subject perfectly clear already and sternly tells her that he needs a break from it. With both of them vehemently disagreeing, it looks like real cracks in the marriage are beginning to form.

Back at the station, the Gardaí are tasked with scattering the ashes of a man who used to live in Red Rock but moved to America. When Angela realises who the man really is, she is shocked to her very core.

NOTES TO EDITOR

Episode 25

Airing Wednesday 1st April at 8:30pm TV3

D day is approaching for Michael as he’s taken into custody and despite brother-in-law McKay’s words of encouragement to stand tall and be strong, he is numb with fear. Being locked up in a prison cell in Red Rock garda station is one thing but if he goes down, Mountjoy won’t be as kind to a rich kid like him…

The Kielys meanwhile are overjoyed as word reaches them of Michael’s fate. After a long wait, justice looks like it’s finally being done. In a heartfelt exchange, Vincent informs Katie that Michael is being charged with the murder of Darren. Vincent knows that he has Katie to thank for this, and sets about trying to repair his relationship with his daughter. But is it too late?

Claire is feeling helpless. Not only is she proving useless in defending her brother but she can’t even conceive. After a stressful day she breaks down but James reassures her that they’ll figure it out. However, when Claire brings up the possibility of more IVF treatment, McKay resists and puts his foot down. With both of them vehemently disagreeing, it looks like real cracks in the marriage are beginning to form.

Back at the station, the Gardaí are tasked with scattering a man’s ashes that used to live in Red Rock, but moved to America. When Angela realises who the man really is, she is shocked to her very core.

Episode 26

Airing Thursday 2nd April at 8:30pm TV3

Nikki and Angela come close to solving the long-standing case of a missing person, but the results prove personally devastating for Angela who struggles to come to terms with what she discovers. Despite the problems in her marriage to husband Tommy, Angela turns to him for support. Could the tragic revelations at work lead to a ceasefire and a rekindling of romance at home?

James McKay is desperately worried for his wife, and determines to repair the cracks that have begun appearing in their marriage due to the enormous pressure Claire is putting on herself to conceive. James wants to remind Claire of all they have to be thankful for, but is Claire prepared to listen?

Back at the station, Sharon eventually finds the notebook that she had reported missing. She knows Brian is behind all this trickery but proving it is a mammoth task. How much longer can Sharon sustain the never ending onslaught of mind games, bullying and intimidation that Brian is throwing her way?

Vincent and Katie have a heart to heart about everything that’s happened, but things don’t quite go the way he hoped when Katie makes an important decision which leaves him heartbroken.
