TV3 GROUP RELEASE

IMMEDIATE: Thursday 27th November, 2014.

Síle Seoige joins ‘Late Lunch Live’ on TV3.

In a first for ‘Late Lunch Live’, Lucy Kennedy will co-host alongside another female presenter – Síle Seoige.

Síle’s appearance will mark her return to daytime television. The last time the Galway native presented a chat show was back in 2009 alongside sister Grainne.

‘Late Lunch Live’ airs weekdays from 3.30pm – 4.30pm, on TV3.

In a first for TV3’s popular afternoon show, Lucy Kennedy will be joined by another female presenter on the couch. Late Lunch Live will turn into a ‘ladies lunch’ as producers draft in Síle Seoige to stand in for Martin King, who’s feeling under the weather this week.

While there has previously been several stand-in presenters on the show including Sheana Keane and Jim McCabe, Síle will become the first female co-host to join Lucy in the 3.30pm–4.30pm slot.

Tomorrow’s Late Lunch Live will be somewhat of an occasion for Síle as it will mark her return to daytime television. The last time the Galway native presented a chat show was back in 2009, alongside sister Grainne.

The 35-year-old TV presenter will next week release her charity Christmas single 'Maybe This Christmas' in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation and the ISPCC's Childline services.

Speaking about joining pal Lucy on air, Síle said: “I always have great craic when I go on ‘Late Lunch Live’ and I’ve known Lucy for years so I can’t wait to sit beside her on the couch! Forget ‘Late Lunch Live’, it’s all about ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ tomorrow.”

Friday’s Late Lunch Live guest is former Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh who will star as the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella - the Cheerios Panto at the Tivoli Theatre. Michelle Darmody from the Cake Café will be guest chef on the day.

‘Late Lunch Live’ airs weekdays from 3.30pm – 4.30pm, on TV3.
