TV3’s Christmas Toy Show will be Live streamed on the web.

The Christmas Toy Show on TV3 will be Live streamed on www.tv3.ie/live

Brian McFadden and Karen Koster will host the 90 minute show Live from the RDS this Friday 21st November from 8pm – 9.30pm.

‘The Christmas Toy Show’ on TV3 will be the opening night of a nine-day spectacular event at the RDS, running from 22nd – 30th November.

Interviews available on request.

TV3 will live stream its Christmas Toy Show online this Friday night in an effort to cater for the Irish diaspora abroad. The Ballymount broadcaster has been inundated with queries from Irish families living abroad wondering if it’s possible to catch a glimpse of the show. From 8pm this Friday families abroad will be able to see all of the action via www.tv3.ie/live

Brian McFadden and Karen Koster will host The Christmas Toy Show on TV3 this Friday and will be joined by singing siblings Jedward and some very special guests including David Rawle  (who plays Martin Moone) and Ian O’Reilly (who plays Padraic), from the popular TV series Moone Boy.

Former Westlife star turned solo artist, Brian McFadden, has been making a name for himself in television, presenting the ITV show Who’s Doing The Dishes? and Channel 5’s Stand By Your Man, not to mention his stint as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent, chosen by none other than Simon Cowell. With rehearsals due to get underway tomorrow night from the RDS, Brian and Karen are both feeling excited.

Brian McFadden said: “I’m really looking forward to Friday now. We’ve a full dress rehearsal on Thursday so hopefully all goes smoothly and I don’t break any of the toys by mistake! It’s going to be a fantastic show and I hope both Karen and I get everybody in the Christmas spirit.”

Karen Koster said: “I am over the moon to be part of the Christmas Toy Show on TV3, in what is a really special year for me. I am actually due the baby around Christmas Day so this Christmas is extra special, and  what better way to get all Christmassy than by hosting what is essentially 90 minutes of acting like you are 8-years-old all over again!”

TV3 is also taking no chances when it comes to its soon-to-be yummy mummy host, Karen Koster. The broadcaster has enlisted the help of a midwife, who’ll be on hand in the audience should the show over-excite Karen into an early labour!

A spokesperson for TV3 said: “We’ve all been joking about the possibility of Karen going into labour early on the show. We really hope that doesn’t happen or the pressure will be on to call the baby Jedward or Brian! That’s if it’s a boy of course!”

The show will feature top toy reviews, exclusive performances and nostalgic blasts from the past as well as fun, festive features. The Christmas Toy Show on TV3 will have something for everyone, featuring everything from tech toys and dolls to board games and retro toys, plus there will be a few surprises along the way!

The Christmas Toy Show on 21st November will be the opening night of a nine-day spectacular event at the RDS, running from 22nd – 30th November. The Christmas Toy Show at the RDS will see families experience Christmas magic with fun, games, and activities for the little ones and tons of entertainment and music, not to mention Ireland’s best Santa Experience. The show will feature all the toys you need for Christmas under one roof, from this year’s must-haves to those all-important stocking fillers.
