TV3 airs a new weekly dedicated movie show –

The Film Buzz

 

Presented by Gordon Hayden, ‘The Film Buzz’ keeps viewers up to date on theatrical releases from summer blockbusters to art house gems.

 

Every week Gordon will be joined by film buff contributors including Entertainment.ie’s Rory Cashin.

 

Irish Transformers star Jack Reynor talks about making the leap to a summer blockbuster and ‘The Film Buzz’ gets a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the fourth instalment of Transformers with Mark Wahlberg and Kelsey Grammer.

‘The Film Buzz’ airs tomorrow 10thJuly at 6.30pm on TV3.

 

Presented by Gordon Hayden, The Film Buzz is TV3’s brand new dedicated movie show for fanatics, by fanatics, keeping viewers up to date on theatrical releases from summer blockbusters to art house gems. 

 

Broadcast weekly, this jam-packed half hour programme will focus on providing the viewers with well-informed news and views around theatrical titles, with light hearted and lively debate between the presenter and contributors, spurred on by audience interaction through Social Media.

 

Every week Gordon will be joined by film buff contributors including Entertainment.ie’s Rory Cashin and viewers will be brought face to face with all the stars, directors and producers in the movie world. Shot mainly in the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield, Dublin, the programme will travel nationwide to cover film festivals and film sets.

 

The first episode in the series airs on Thursday 10th July at 6.30pm on TV3.  Gordon Hayden brings viewers news and views from all the latest cinema releases. This week features the blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction, along with the critically acclaimed Boyhood and Begin Again from Once director John Carney.  Irish Transformersstar Jack Reynor talks about making the leap to a summer blockbuster and The Film Buzz gets a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the fourth instalment with Mark Wahlberg and Kelsey Grammer.

 

The programme will be repeated each week on 3e and available for catch up on 3Player. The series of 20 programmes runs from July 2014 to December 2014, covering the Blockbuster season.

 

The programme also has its own website ebuzz.ie where the audience can access more news, views and unseen footage.

 

The Film Buzz airs tomorrow 10thJuly at 6.30pm on TV3.

Gordon Hayden has worked as a film critic for 13 years. He was Ireland AM’s resident film reviewer and the presenter / producer of the popular radio show “We Love Movies” on Spin 103.8FM. He is also well known on 3e through his programme “Uploaded”. Gordon has interviewed the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Daniel Craig, and Tom Cruise.
