‘Keith Barry: Brain Hacker’ episode 3 airs Sunday 26th January at 9pm on TV3.
Spoon bender and mystifier Uri Geller has called on Ireland boss Martin O’Neill to invite him to the next crucial Republic of Ireland game and has offered to put the power of his mind towards achieving a win for the team!
Uri Geller offers his services to Martin in this Sunday’s episode of Brain Hacker, the brand new TV3 show centred on world-renowned mentalist Keith Barry.
After asking Keith and the audience, who the Republic of Ireland football manager was, Uri was quick to give the gaffer a message: “Whoever Martin O’Neill or whoever you are, you look into my eyes now. You better invite me for the next crucial match if you want Ireland to win, and I mean that!”
It’s not the first time Uri has been accused of influencing the result of a football game. In 1996, Uri was credited with moving the ball on the pitch as Gary McAllister took a penalty for Scotland against England, in a crucial Euro 96 match. This resulted in England keeper David Seaman saving the ball from hitting the back of the net.
On hearing Uri’s suggestion, the FAI have already extended the arm of hospitality to Uri, inviting him over to the President’s box for Ireland’s next clash against Serbia at the Aviva Stadium on 5th March. Three, sponsors of the Irish football team are also championing Uri’s kind proposition and have already provided the self-proclaimed psychic and magician with his own personalised jersey.
Keith Barry is also no stranger to influencing the outcome of sporting events. In 2009 Keith successfully predicted that Leinster would beat Leicester by exactly 3 points to lift the Heineken Cup, cleaning out Paddy Power to the tune of over €500,000. Between Uri’s mind control and Keith’s ability to predict events before they happen surely Ireland cannot lose!
On Sunday night’s Brain Hacker, viewers will also see Keith hack into the mind of leading Irish cybercrime expert, Orla Cox and pull the trigger on four real revolvers in a deadly game of Russian Roulette.
Will Keith’s deadly stunt go to plan or will it all go horribly wrong? Tune in tonight (Sunday 26th January) at 9pm on TV3 to find out.
From March 2014, Keith will also be taking Brain Hacker around the country with a new live show, proving that everything you see on TV can be done live! The live tour kicks off on 14th March 2014. See ‘Notes to Editor’ for a full list of dates.
