Corrie’s emotional goodbye to Hayley reaches 719,000 viewers.

 

An average of 589,200 viewers watched Coronation Street at 8.30pm on TV3 last night, as Hayley Cropper passed away, after 17 years on the soap.

 

The tear-jerking episode reached 719,000 viewers, taking a 36% share of Adults.

Hayley’s final appearance in Coronation Street will air tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd January) at 7.30pm on TV3.

 

After 17 years on Coronation Street, Hayley Cropper’s story drew to a close last night at 8.30pm on TV3 as she passed away with husband Roy by her side. The emotional episode which reached 719,000 viewers saw the much-loved character say goodbye to her husband Roy before she took a lethal cocktail to end her own life. The episode averaged 589,200, taking in a 36% share of Adults.
