TV3 will be airing the extremely shocking documentary which reveals disturbing interviews with alleged victims who have come forward to accuse the late BBC broadcaster Jimmy Savile of sexual abuse. Former detective Mark Williams-Thomas, who had been a police investigator on the successful 2001 Jonathan King child-sex prosecution case, investigates allegations that Savile, who died last year, sexually abused vulnerable teenage girls at the height of his fame in the 1970s.

The documentary states that Savile obtained access to teenage girls through television programmes such as Top of the Pops and Clunk, Click, and his charity work. The founder of ChildLine, Esther Rantzen, was shown footage of the interviews by Williams-Thomas and commented that "There were always rumours that he [Savile] behaved very inappropriately sexually with children."

Since these first allegations emerged, the number of Savile’s alleged victims has hugely increased with claims that have erupted a media storm and forced the BBC to conduct an in depth investigation which is currently underway.
