TV3 JOINS FORCES WITH CNN FOR IN-DEPTH COVERAGE OF THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

TV3, as CNN Ireland affiliate, has announced a major media partnership with the global news giant for its coverage of this year’s US Presidential Election campaign.

CNN correspondents will provide daily reports from the election campaign starting each morning on Ireland AM, News at 5.30 and Tonight with Vincent Browne, giving our viewers the best coverage available from a world news leader.

Coverage starts tomorrow morning at 2am (Friday 12th) with a live, uninterrupted CNN broadcast of the vice-presidential debate between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Paul Ryan followed by detailed analysis of the debate tomorrow morning on Ireland AM.

Live coverage will also extend to the final two Presidential debates between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney as well as CNN’s election night programming, America’s Choice, on November 6.

In studio, TV3’s programming across the daily schedule will provide expert analysis of the candidates’ prospects for victory.
