One of the longest running game shows on television, Family Fortunes, has finally made it to Ireland! Known in Japan and the US as Family Feud, Irish families can at last enjoy one of the most popular family TV shows, which will air exclusively on TV3.

You know how it works. Two family teams, each with five members, go head-to-head to guess the results of surveys, in which 100 people were asked open ended questions. After several rounds of predicting the most popular answers to seemingly simple questions, one of the families will try their luck in Big Money and could walk away with a major cash prize.

And with answers made in haste TV audiences expect comedy gold as ordinary Irish people take the stage and entertain the nation.

Filmed in front of a live audience in The Helix in Dublin and with TV3’s Alan Hughes as ringmaster, Family Fortunes is a primetime entertainment game show that promises to liven up our screens. Ireland is set for family fun, frolics and fortune!

TV3 have commissioned Sideline Productions to manage the Irish version and are now seeking families to star in one of the most successful game shows in TV history.
