TV3 GROUP RELEASE

IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday 20thJanuary, 2015.

Sisters win the first ever Jackpot Prize on TV3’s ‘The Lie’.

Surviving a nail-biting series of rounds and risking an increasing amount of cash on their ability to spot the lie, the girls walk away with the grand prize of €10,000.

Aisling said she would put money towards driving lessons and Sinead would go on holidays and buy her Mam some kitchen furniture.

‘The Lie’ airs Monday – Friday at 7pm on TV3.

Interviews are available on request.

Kicking off in tonight’s episode of TV3’s The Lie, sisters Aisling and Sinead go all the way to the top on the big money game show. Hosted by the multi-award winning broadcaster and journalist Jonathan McCrea, tensions mount tonight as the sisters clear level 5. However they do not bank before the end of the episode, leaving everything to play for in tomorrow night’s episode.

TV3 viewers will be left in anticipation as they wait for the girls to return tomorrow night to play for the jackpot. Surviving a nail-biting series of rounds and risking an increasing amount of cash on their ability to spot the lie, the girls walk away with the grand prize of €10,000, the first time anyone has beaten the game and walked away with the jackpot on TV3.

Sinead is studying archaeology whilst sister Aisling is in her final year studying to be a primary school teacher. No stranger to pressure, Aisling was a finalist in a junior cookery competition judged by celebrity chef, Kevin Dundon.

When asked what they would do with the money if they won, Aisling said she would put money towards driving lessons and Sinead would go on holidays and buy her Mam some kitchen furniture.
