Morbidly obese man continues on his weight loss struggle in TV3’s ‘Saving Ray’.

 

Ray is starting to feel the strain as gruelling workout and diet regimes combined with less time with his two boys, start to take its toll.

 

Ray has enlisted the help of a team of experts including a therapist, dietician, trainer and physiotherapist who are all available for interview on request.

‘Saving Ray’ episode 2 airs Monday 22nd September at 8pm on TV3.

 

Saving Ray is a brand new four-part documentary series that follows Ray Adamson, a 31 year old, morbidly obese man from Dublin, who is on a 12-week journey to turn his life around before his wedding day. Ray’s goal is to lose three stone before his wedding and ten stone overall. But this is not just about losing weight; for Ray this is just as much a mental as it is a physical challenge.

 

In the second episode of this inspiring series, Ray is starting to feel the strain as gruelling workout and diet regimes combined with less time with his two boys, start to take its toll. With the stags weekend fast approaching he must also face his alcohol issues.

 

Saving Ray is a bluntly honest yet heart-warming look at weight loss and mental well-being, seen through the eyes of a cynical young Dublin man and his close group of friends and family.

 

This insightful series follows the twelve weeks leading up to Ray and Tracy’s wedding, in which time Ray moves house, plans a wedding, works full-time, takes charge of his own body and mind and turns his life around.
