We’re celebrating international bread week this morning with Joe’s tasty French Toast
Ingredients:
• Chickpea water- From 1 standard can
• 40 ml full fat Milk
• 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
• 6 slices of your favourite bread
• Rapeseed oil - for frying
• Knob of Butter
• 1 Vanilla Pod
Method:
1.Add the chickpea water to food proccessor container
2.Blend on high for 90 seconds (should fluff up)
3.Add you fluffy chickpea mixture to a bowl with almond milk and cinnamon
4.Add the seeds of 1 vanilla pod or 1tsp of vanilla extract for more flavour
5.Dip your bread in the mixture until both sides covered
6.Pan fry both sides of bread until browned and crispy on the oil and butter
Topping:
1.Top with some lovely berries heated and mixed in some lovely honey
