The Willis Clan Perform Live on Ireland AM

3rd Jun 15 | TV News

The Willis Clan joined Alan Hughes on Ireland AM this morning to discuss their new album Heaven.

The Willis Clan could definitely qualify as a modern-day Von Trapp Family. Living near Nashville Tennessee, they merge their Irish roots with other music and dance genres to create a unique blend of the old and new. The twelve-piece family band who made their name as 'America's Got Talent' quarter finalists in 2014 have released a new album 'Heaven' and begin their Irish tour this Friday.

They joined Alan Hughes this morning on Ireland AM to discuss the recent release of their new album Heaven and share some of their family stories.

Their new album is not the only exciting thing on the horizon for The Willis Clan. They broke out in a big way at the end of 2013 when they were named the ‘Today Show’s Sound of Music Family.’

The America’s Got Talent finalists have also attracted the attention of TLC executives and now have a reality show which focuses on the family and their success story. The first season of the show premiered on the 5th of May, 2015.
