Louise Duffy and Eoghan Doherty will present a special TV3 IFTA Film and Drama Awards programme.

Louise Duffy and Eoghan Doherty will present a special TV3 IFTA Film and Drama Awards programme. Exclusive coverage of the ceremony, which takes places this Sunday at the Mansion House, will air on TV3 at 9pm on Bank Holiday Monday, 1st June. The fresh faced double act will be on the red carpet and backstage, bringing viewers exclusive interviews with the nominees and reporting on the glitz and glamour of the evening, ahead of and during the awards ceremony.

The IFTA Film and Drama Awards ceremony itself will be presented by Caroline Morahan and will see famous faces like Michael Fassbender, Colin Farrell, Jamie Dornan, Liam Cunningham and Domhnall Gleeson, amongst many more, all competing for prestigious IFTA Awards. Jim Sheridan will also receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, a tribute to his career that spans 30 years with credits that include My Left Foot, The Boxer, In America, In the Name of the Father, The Field, Brothers and Some Mother’s Son.

With high profile names from the industry expected to attend, Louise will be rubbing shoulders with some of the rising stars and best creative talent that Ireland has to offer, and getting the first backstage and red carpet interviews with all the winners and international stars on the night.

Eoghan will be based in TV3’s backstage studio overlooking the red carpet where he will be chatting to some of the most talented personalities and prolific stars who have wowed audiences across the globe.

The IFTA Film and Drama Awards will be covered across TV3 programming the day after the awards on Monday 25th May and throughout the week with interviews on TV3’s Xposé, while the hour long IFTA Film and Drama Awards Special will be broadcast on Bank Holiday Monday 1st June at 9pm.
