There are major delays on the M50 this afternoon as emergency services deal with a truck fire that went up in flames on the southbound lane just after J4 Ballymun.
M50 Dublin said:
"Emergency services on scene at the truck fire. All lanes have been closed to allow Dublin Fire Brigade room to work. Hopefully we be able to open a lane soon. Please try avoid the area if possible."

AA Roadwatch says:
"The M50 is closed southbound after J4 Ballymun as emergency services deal with a truck on fire. Delays have built back to the M1 interchange. Northbound traffic is also heavy on approach."
