Met Eireann have issued a Status Yellow weather warning for the entire country as some VERY rough weather is expected to hit over the coming days.
A weather front, expected to be named Storm Callum today, is now expected to hit late on Thursday night - a few days earlier than first expected.
The public have been urged to keep an eye on the forecast over the next few days and to take heed of weather warnings that are likely to be put in place.

Met Éireann forecaster Deirdre Lowe said:
"We are urging people to take the necessary precautions.
We are going to get very high winds followed by a lot of rain and there could be some coastal surge."
