Now we feel old...

One of Ireland's favourite films, The Snapper, has been made into play which had it's opening night last night night in Dublin's Gate Theatre.

Based on the Roddy Doyle’s novel of the same name, the film/play follows Sharon Curley as she finds herself knocked up as a single 20 year old in Dublin in the early Nineties. She becomes the talk of the town as she refuses to name the father.

Dublin native Aisling Conlan, who featured in the film version as baby Georgina, took to Twitter on Wednesday evening to share the news that she was attending the first night of the show.

She was just three days old when she was cast as the newest addition to the Curley family.

According to her Twitter page, the 25 year old is an Irish Canoe Slalom athlete and describes herself as a ‘keen cyclist and coffee drinker’.
