"You’ll be able to kit yourself out from head to toe for €15"

Discount retailer Dealz Ireland has announced its plans to bring its clothing chain Pep&Co to some of its Irish stores over the coming months.

The brand will make its first arrival in Ireland in February when it’s launched in 10 of Dealz 61 Irish stores.

Pep&Co will initially launch in Dealz stores in Blanchardstown, Kilkenny, Dundrum, Naas, Newbridge, Gorey, Athy, Finglas, Ballina and Castlebar.

A further 20 Pep&CO shop-in-shops will be launched in Dealz locations including Killarney, Galway, Letterkenny and Cork before the summer, creating 120 jobs.

And it looks Pep&Co is set to rival our favourite budget high street retailer, Penneys, with jeans available for as little as €6.50 and t-shirts on offer for just €3.50 and men’s jumpers on sale for a ridiculously cheap €7.50.

A press release from Dealz read: "A move that is set to shake up the fashion high street will be welcomed by Irish savvy shoppers seeking a fresh, new offering in the discount fashion retail space.”

"The arrival of the fledging fashion brand is set to drive significant attention of local competitor Penneys as customers will be able to directly compare the quality and price of ranges."

Managing Director Barry Williams told the Irish Times that Pep&Co would take up approximately 20% to 25% of floor space in store.

He added: “You’ll be able to kit yourself out from head to toe for €15. Where else can you do that?"
