Meet FIVE Semi-Finalists of this year’s Ireland’s Got Talent as we prepare for an exciting weekend of entertainment on Virgin Media One.

  Sharon Ward 1.jpg

Sharyn Ward (33) wowed the judges by singing ‘Stand by me’ which meant a lot to her. She is a mother of three who wants to change people’s perception! She was a bit of a rebel in her culture as most traveller women marry very young but she went to college, out with friends and worked. Sharyn is really invested in her family, they are everything to her! She wants them to know that they can be anything they want to be in life. She has brought them up to be loving and empathic and to take pride in being travellers! Ireland’s Got Talent judge, Michelle Visage said “You are proud of who you are and you are unapologetic!” and we completely agree!

Declan Colgan 2.jpg

Within the semi-finalists, we get a chance to watch Declan Colgan (20) sing and play piano this Saturday! Declan is a social care worker from Mullingar who uses his music skills for therapy. His passion for music comes from his grandfather who used to play the accordion! Declan has been performing from the age of 13/14 and now plays guitar, bass, piano and drums. At his audition, Michelle Visage said he had that special something that you just can’t explain. Will he be able to outshine the other semi-finalists? We think so.

One Island Clan 21.jpg

Next up, parkour/free running artists One Island Clan are ready to use every inch of the Ireland’s Got Talent stage this week! These three lads have been doing parkour for around seven years and all started when they were teenagers. David Willis, Paul Allen and James Dickson come from Belfast & Dublin, they will often go on 3 or 4 day trips where they train all day. The biggest issue for the guys is that they live far apart and the lack of parkour facilities in Ireland. Their goal is to be able to open up a Movement Academy in Dublin that caters to as many movement based sports as possible! Will we see these lads fly into the next round?

Aidan Mc Cann 2.jpg

This spectacular little man is our next semi-finalist in Ireland’s Got Talent. Keep your eye on Aidan McCann (9) as he is full of magic!  This magician from Maynooth has been doing magic for four years now, mainly he does his tricks at school and parties! His ultimate life dream is to be a magician and the proudest moment of his life so far is getting to audition for the judges on Ireland’s Got Talent (Awww!). His favourite judge is Jason Byrne. Lucy Kennedy called him an absolutely genius in his first audition! Will he impress the public enough to make it all the way through to the finals?

Liv Gregorio 14.jpg

Liv Amerie Gregorio (9) is a singer from Cork that is ready to wow the judges in the Ireland’s Got Talent semi-finals! Liv has been singing since she was two years old and even goes to stage school to do singing and dancing classes! Her biggest influences are her dad and Lea Michelle from Glee. Liv LOVES to sing big numbers by Barbara Streisand, Adele and Jennifer Hudson. She’d love to win Ireland’s Got Talent as her dream is to be a world class performed. Denise Van Outen said she has a great voice and chose a brilliant song but she acted out the song as well so it was a full on performance! We all absolutely loved it! Will Liv has the vocal skills to sing herself into the finals?

Ireland’s Got Talent Semi-Finals this Saturday AND Sunday at 7:30pm on Virgin Media One! If one of these are your favourite, don't forget to vote on Saturday & Sunday to keep them in!
