Cassie will join Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon, Peter O’Riordan and Aisling O’Loughlin from Monday 18th April.
TV3 is delighted to announce Cassie Stokes as the newest member of the Xposé team. Cassie will be standing in on Ireland’s Number 1 entertainment show while anchor Karen Koster is on maternity leave.
Viewers will remember Cassie as Cyber Reporter on 3e’s FYI news programme from 2010 until 2013. Viewers will also recognise her as the Twitter correspondent on Tonight with Vincent Browne, where she regularly helped Vincent out with the infamous “tweet machine”.
Cassie then branched out to Canada where she was selected from thousands of hopefuls to become the next guest co-host on ET Canada. She continued to work for Entertainment Tonight, reporting from celebrity-filled red carpets, to live award shows both for broadcast and social. Cassie also made a name for herself as a female voice over artist on the other side of the pond, voicing many commercials for brands including American Express and Ford.
Dublin-born Cassie Stokes graduated from Ballyfermot College of Further Education, where she studied Presentation and Performance. Before getting her break in TV3, she spent ten years of her childhood in the Canadian city of Toronto but returned to Ireland in 1997. Cassie originally joined TV3 as a Promotions Assistant before rising the ranks to become a continuity announcer and presenter for 3e.
Cassie will join Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon, Peter O’Riordan and Aisling O’Loughlin on Xposé, Ireland’s Number 1 celebrity entertainment show, from Monday 18th April.
Commenting on the appointment of Cassie, TV3 Group (Acting) Head of Daytime, Debbie O’Donnell, said: “We are delighted to welcome Cassie back to TV3. We all know Cassie very well from her time here as 3e’s FYI reporter and know she will make a great addition to the Xposé team. Her experience, her attitude and her personality will be a huge asset to the show. I know our viewers will warm to her too very quickly as she brings her own style and character to the team.”
Speaking about her new role, Cassie said: “I am absolutely delighted to be back in TV3 and a part of the Xposè team. I've been a huge fan of the show for years and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. I have always had a big love of fashion and I can't wait for the new challenges that lie ahead.”
Cassie joins the ‘Xposé’ team from Monday 18th April.
‘Xposé’ airs weekdays from 6pm – 7pm on TV3
