Now that the Love Island stars are out in the real world - what's their style like?
14th Aug 18 | FashionKatie Wright looks at the top six girls' fashion hits and misses.
For eight weeks we watched them lounging around in their swimwear, but now the Love Island 2018 alumni are out of the villa and doing the rounds on TV chat shows, at film premieres and VIP events, which means lots of Instagram snaps and outfits for us to ogle.
During the eight-week series the girls rocked an array of bikinis, swimsuits and clothes provided by clothing partner Missguided, and while they all looked awesome it was difficult to differentiate between them in terms of style, especially as they often shared and swapped items.
Now that they’re back in the UK we get to see how the ladies really dress, from evening glam to casual off-duty looks – and there’s a real difference, with some surprising style stars emerging (and a few questionable ensembles cropping up too).
Here, we take a look at the top six Love Island girls and assess their post-villa fashion credentials…
Dani Dyer
Crowned winner alongside boyfriend Jack Fincham, Dyer was hugely popular with Love Island fans thanks to her bubbly, upbeat personality.
The 22-year-old’s fashion choices are similar. She loves printed coord sets, minidresses and shorts paired with chunky heels, keeping it summery and sweet.
Laura Anderson
Another fan favourite (especially among women who loved her take-no-BS attitude), Anderson was runner-up with Paul Knops despite them being a couple for less than two weeks when the show ended.

Edgy and elegant is how the 29-year-old’s style is best described, ranging from cool ripped denim by day to chic midi-dresses by night. A definite style star.
Kaz Crossley
Coming third with Josh Denzel, beautiful Kaz Crossley has a fashion formula and she likes to stick with it.
The 23-year-old is all about bright jewel tones, from cute, casual minidresses to sexy bodycon frocks.
Megan Barton Hanson
Voted the most fancied girl of 2018 in a survey by Plenty of Fish, Megan Barton-Hanson was nothing less than sizzling during the show – remember that black finale dress with the cleavage-revealing cut-out?
But since leaving the villa (and moving in with boyfriend Wes Nelson) the fourth place winner has made some, well, unusual style choices, favouring lots of high necklines and this strange patchwork ensemble, which makes it look like she’s about to go and host the Crystal Maze…
Alexandra Cane
They had already broken up when they left the villa in fifth place, but ‘Alex squared’ aka Alexandra Cane and Dr Alex George are on friendly terms now (phew).
Raven-haired beauty Cane looks like she’d fit right in with the Kardashian clan, favouring clinging midi dresses and tailored pieces worn with nothing underneath (obviously) and lots of neutral colours.
Laura Crane
Pro surfer ‘new Laura’ came sixth with hunk of the season Jack Fowler and has been seriously impressing with her red carpet appearances since returning to the UK.

From bright tailoring to floral frocks and sexy slip dresses, the 23-year-old’s outfits are so stylish that they look like they could be designer but they’re usually not. The blonde beauty loves French Connection (the stunning pink suit above) and Topshop.
She may have come sixth on Love Island but Crane gets our best dressed award.
