It was all hands-on-deck as the Virgin Media Solutions team rolled out our first major in-agency roadshow since March 2020.
To celebrate the launch of the brand-new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! we challenged some of our agency colleagues to take part in the VMS Bushtucker Trial 2022. With a jam-packed schedule of events, we visited 5 of our top agencies across the day, rolling in our I'm A Celeb experience that left nobody in any doubt of what show was starting, where and when!
Partnering up with Dave's Jungle, we took three volunteers from each agency through a series of Bushtucker Trials, before the winners were crowned King or Queen of their agency.
The trials included having a Tarantula take up residency on your neck for over 30 seconds, removing tokens from boxes full of jungle critters and forcing people to overcome their fear of the unknown with our "Mystery Box of Doom!".
We had a fantastic turn out at each agency, with all the teams taking time out of their busy day to spend some time with their VMS colleagues and enjoy our show.
Many of which also took the opportunity to face some fears by handling a huge Python and a quick footed Tarantula!
This event, and other engagement opportunities like this, play a key role in building and reigniting important face to face relationships with our commercial partners, while also giving our VMS team the chance to share details of several new and exciting opportunities we have in the market.
The roadshow was also supported with hamper drops to other key commercial partners and agencies. On the day social accounts from across the industry were awash with content from our roadshow and trials, really amplifying our engagement, but also raising awareness of I'm A Celeb's return this November to on Virgin Media One & Virgin Media Player.
