Catherine Leyden's recipe for gluten free savoury bread.
Ingredients
• 350g / 12oz Odlums Gluten Free Brown Bread Mix
• 1 Tablespoon Oil
• 2 Medium Onions (grated)
• 1 Clove Garlic (crushed)
• 50g / 2oz Grated Cheddar Cheese
• ½ Teaspoon Goodall's Mixed Herbs
• 300ml / ½ pint Milk
• Salt and Pepper
Method:
1. Put brown bread mix, salt and pepper into a bowl.
2. Add the onions, garlic, cheddar cheese and mixed herbs. Mix well. Add the milk and stir until blended.
3. Transfer to a greased 2lb loaf tin.
4. Bake in preheated oven at 190°C/375°F/Gas 5 for 1 hour approx.
