Headlice

It is estimated that one in ten children will suffer from head lice at any one time with eighty per cent of infestations occurring in children between the ages of four and sixteen.

And with the new school year upon us, pharmacists are now urging parents and guardians to start screening their children regularly.

Our resident GP, Dr Mairead Beirne joined us today with everything you need to know about head lice.
