Many people are choosing to wear a face mask when out in public, but should they be made mandatory? Many countries including Austria, Germany and France have already made face masks compulsory in public spaces, but Ireland have yet to make a decision on this.

Professor Luke O'Neill, immunologist at Trinity College Dublin has been advocating for people to wear face masks as he believe they are the key to halting the spread of coronavirus.
