Our guest this morning was only twelve years old when she suffered sexual abuse at the hands of a trusted family member. Unknown to her, her sister was going through the same thing.
Years later they both waived their right to anonymity in court so that their abuser could be named. He was subsequently sentenced to 10 years in Prison.
Now with her abuser behind bars, Stephanie Hickey has written about her abuse, survival and how she found a way back to herself in her new book 'Running From the Shadows'.
