BeLonG To Youth Services

We are joined by Matt Kennedy, Policy and Research Officer of BeLonG Youth Services to chat about their National school survey which shows LGBTI+ students experience physical and sexual assault, harassment and abuse at school and is calling on the Irish government to take action.

This is in conjunction with BeLong To’s 10th year of their Stand Up Awareness Week, a time for your school to take a stand against homophobic, transphobic, and biphobic bullying that many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI+) students experience.

We are also joined by 21-year-old Ayrton Kelly from Donegal to chat about his experience about coming out during secondary school. Ayrton is currently in his final year in UCD studying Commerce and French
