Lorraine Keane And Dr Mary Ryan Chat About The Menopause
Tue, 15 October 2019
For many women over the age of 40, menopause can be a challenging time - but hormone health is not something they want to discuss with their friends or family.
Broadcaster Lorraine Keane joined us earier to tell us about her own experience of peri-menopause, alongside consultant endocrinologist Dr Mary Ryan.
As we discussed above, menopause can be a confronting topic to discuss with your family and friends - and just one in ten women seek medical advice when they go through the menopause, according to the HSE.
But if you have had concerns or issues to do with your hormone health during this time - we're here to help.
Gynecologist and author, Barbara Taylor, joined us later in the show to answer your questions about menopause.
