Following reports of a Catholic primary school refusing to give a child a 'homework pass' for not attending a religious ceremony with their classmates, this morning we're asking - how hard is it for parents to opt their children out of religion in school?

Joining us in studio this morning to discuss both sides of the debate was Michael Nugent, the Chair of Atheist Ireland, and Broadcaster Niall Boylan.
