Imagine finding out 35 weeks into a pregnancy that your unborn child will be born with several medical complications and having to prepare yourself for the unknown.
This was the reality that Nikki McCormack and her husband Rob faced when they prepared for the birth of their second child, Emily.
Now aged 5, Emily has several medical complications, including a chronic lung condition as well as a weak immune system, leaving her more susceptible to infections.
Despite being non-verbal, Emily loves her hugs, spending time with her big sister Mia, as well as doing art, a passion which she found through the help of Laura Lynn.
This morning we were joined by Nikki, along with daughter Emily, as well as All Ireland winning former Dublin footballer and CEO of the Gaelic Players Association, who have chosen Laura Lynn as their charity partner this year, Paul Flynn.
