As a psychiatrist, Prof Brendan Kelly has seen every façade of human emotion and despite extolling the benefits of meditation to his patients, he realized he wasn't practicing what he preached.
He decided to meditate for 15 minutes a day for 1 whole year and journal the experience to see what difference it made, and to help him, help his patients.
He joined us this morning to talk about his new book 'The Doctor Who Sat for a Year'.
