This month, we are being encouraged to ‘Drink Tea for MND’ all in aid of Motor Neurone Disease - a progressive neurological condition that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.
Just last year, mum of three, Roisin Foley began to notice some worrying signs that after months of testing, eventually led to the shocking diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. Just a few months on, she continues to battle the progressive condition which has now affected her whole life and the lives of her three children.
She joined us this morning to tell us why she is on a mission to share her story. She is also joined by Eithne Cawley from the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
