World Cancer Day

Today is World Cancer Day which is a day dedicated to raising worldwide awareness and improving education around cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Anne Nally was just 29-years-old and 29 weeks pregnant when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After delivering her first child she had to go through chemotherapy and radiotherapy, leaving her with symptoms including infertility and early onset menopause in her early 30s. Anne Nally joined us to share her story alongside Dr. Robert O’Connor, head of research with the Irish Cancer Society.
