Watch the laughs, drama and tension unfold as Rosanna Davison, Calum Best, Georgia Salpa, Abi Titmuss, Alan Hughes and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace cope with the wonderful world of tanning, waxing, hair and make-up.
Living and learning together over an intensive two week period, these six very different and entertaining characters will be challenged to complete treatments on some of the most demanding celebrities and unusual members of the public. The contestants will be pitted against both the clock and each other, in order to win the grand prize and the title of ‘Best in Beauty’.
TV3’s Director of Programming, Ben Frow said: “Celebrity Salon is back for the summer and this year it promises to be hotter than ever. With six brand new celebrities it guarantees excellent viewing.”
Orlaith Fortune, Marketing Manager, Bulmers Light said: “Celebrity Salon is a great fit for Bulmers Light. Since its launch in 2003, Bulmers Light has been associated with style, glamour and fashion working with emerging designers in DCU, DIT and LSAD and commenting on cutting edge style and beauty with regular commentary from the ‘Style Bitches’ on Bulmers Light Facebook – bringing style to light. It is the only low calorie cider on the Irish market and has proved hugely appealing amongst fashion and style-conscious audiences. This year we’re delighted to have added the iconic Bulmers Light Pint Bottle to our range.”
In the first episode of the series, we see our brand new team of celebrities, Rosanna Davison, Calum Best, Georgia Salpa, Abi Titmuss, Alan Hughes and former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, mentored and trained in a new skill as they compete to impress their mentor and a series of expert judges. Their first task of the series is waxing! Our celebrities are extremely surprised to be thrown in at the deep end when they are given the task of running a waxing salon for the day where they will have to wax anything from legs to bottoms! For their second task the celebs are given the artistic challenge of vajazzling! And to top it all off there’s a new home to move into where things start to heat up between certain celebs!
