Black Pepper & Soy Beef, Spiced Mango & Crunchy Vegetables Slaw

Chef Sham Hanifa is in the kitchen tonight with this delicious dish.
- 1 unripe mango
- 2 round shallot(fine sliced)
- 1 cucumber( baton)
- 1 carrot ( small julienne)
- Handful of green bean (chopped)
- 1/4 shredded Cabbage
- 1 red chili(sliced)
- 1 thumb size ginger ( small Diced)
- 1 handful of coriander (roughly chopped)
- 1 lime juice
- 2tbsp fish sauce
- 1tbsp soya sauce
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
For beef marinade :
- 6 fine slice fillet of beef
- 1tablespoon sugar/ honey
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
- 1tablespoon Black pepper
Method
- For the marinade combine honey, soy sauce, garlic and black pepper.
- Coat beef in the mixture and allow to marinate for up to 2 hours.
- Slice shallots, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, green beans, chili & ginger.
- Mix lime juice, fish sauce, soya sauce, vinegar & sugar. Add sliced veg & toss.
- Toss the marinated beef on piping hot pan until crispy on all sides.
