Easy Breakfast Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup Yoplait Skyr *use equal parts of the flour and skyr - it doesn’t matter what size your cup is just once it is the same amount of each

If you don’t have self-raising flour: use plain flour and 1 tsp baking powder.

 

Method

1. Mix

Add the flour and Skyr to a bowl. Stir until it forms a soft dough.

2. Bring together

Lightly flour your surface and knead for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth (don’t overwork it).

3. Divide & roll

Cut into 4 to 6 pieces. Roll each into thin circles (like wraps).

4. Cook

Heat a dry pan over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for about 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden spots appear. * add a little oil to the pan first if you want them more golden and crispy

 

Breakfast Wrap Ideas:

Fill with:

  • Scrambled eggs and crispy bacon
  • Sausage, fried egg and a grating of Parmesan
  • Avocado, crispy bacon & egg with a chilli crisp drizzle

 

Top Tips

  • If the dough feels sticky, just dust with a bit more flour (trust the process)
  • Roll them thin for wrap-style, thicker for fluffy breads or into small balls for dough balls - you can stuff these with mozzarella and drizzle with garlic butter
  • These freeze brilliantly, just reheat in a pan, toaster or airfryer *I spray with a little water before reheating to keep them soft and fluffy
