Ingredients:
· 150g Plain Flour
· 125g Butter
· 150g Granulated Sugar
· 50g Light Muscovado Sugar
· 200g Chocolate
· 3 large Eggs
· 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
· 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
· 100g packet Chocolate Chips
· Pinch of Salt
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160 Degrees Celsius and line the bottom and sides of a 9-inch square baking tin.
2. On low heat, melt the butter and chocolate together in a bowl.
3. Once melted remove from heat and add the sugars then mix well.
4. Add the eggs into the mixture one at a time and whisking until smooth. Then beat the vanilla extract into the mixture.
5. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture. Once combined, add in the chocolate chips.
6. Pour the mixture into the lined tin and bake for about 35 minutes until crusty on top.
7. Allow for the brownies to cool before cutting. You can serve them with cream, ice cream or strawberry coulee.
